From Madrid-Barajas International Airport:
Madrid-Barajas International Airport is located at 15 km from Alcalá de Henares. Taxi is the most practical mode of transportation (approx. 20 min, 35-45 €, depending on the arriving terminal).
Alternatively, the underground (Metro) Line to Madrid-Nuevos Ministerios (Line 8, 23-27 min, 2 €). Commuter trains for Alcalá de Henares leave Nuevos Ministerios every 5-10 min (lines C2 and C7, 45 min, 2.80 €).

From Madrid-Atocha and Madrid-Chamartin railway stations:
Commuter trains connect every 5-10 min the high-speed railway stations of Alcalá de Henares and Madrid-Atocha in 35 min or Madrid-Chamartin in 50 min (Lines C2 and C7, 2.80 €). Direct trains connect Madrid-Chamartin and Alcalá de Henares in 25 min at certain times.

Bus line L2 and others leave the railway station for Plaza de Cervantes (close to the conference venue), in the heart of the city. Taxi service is also available in the Alcalá railway station.

Arriving by bus:
From Madrid-Avenida de América Bus Station, the Regional Bus Line 223 connects every 15 min this station with the Alcalá Bus Station, located at 300 m from the conference venue (30 min 3 €).
